The excitement was in full swing at Goals Dudley in the afternoon of 12th February, 2025 as Options for Life proudly hosted its Annual Football Awards Ceremony! This special event celebrated the incredible dedication and progress of our participants who have been actively engaging in our football sessions. It was a fantastic opportunity to recognise their hard work, skills, and sporting achievements.
The ceremony was inaugurated by Lesley, Head of Operations, alongside Clare, Support Team Manager, who took on the role of announcing the awardees. Each participant received medals, trophies, and certificates as a token of appreciation for their commitment to the game. The support and encouragement from parents, who attended the event in large numbers, made the ceremony even more memorable. Many proud moments were shared as parents posed for photos with their winners, capturing the joy and pride of the day.
A huge thank you to our dedicated staff—Neil, Jack, Brend, Trevor, Thomas, and Shannon—who have worked tirelessly to help our participants hone their football skills and reach their full potential. Their dedication has been instrumental in making this football project a success.
While some participants were unable to attend due to other commitments, the event was still a great success. We took many photos to commemorate the occasion, and the energy throughout the day was inspiring.
We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Barclays Community Football Fund for their generous support in making this football project possible. Their backing has helped us create meaningful opportunities for our participants to stay active, develop skills, and enjoy the spirit of teamwork.
