At Options for Life, we have had an exciting and engaging week filled with creativity, music, cooking, and sports! Our participants have been busy exploring their talents and having fun while focusing on their well-being.
Valentine’s Day Preparations: Our art and craft session was all about spreading love as participants designed beautiful decorations in preparation for Valentine’s Day. The creativity and effort put into these handmade decorations were incredible, and the Valentine’s posters turned out absolutely brilliant!
Happy Birthday, Jack!: A big happy birthday to Jack, who celebrated his special day on Sunday. Last week, he brought in a delicious birthday cake to share with his friends, making the day extra sweet for everyone. It was a wonderful time filled with laughter, joy, and, of course, cake!
Making Music at Oak Green Lodge: Last Friday, our participants had the chance to try out the brand-new piano at Oak Green Lodge. They played various tunes and enjoyed cheering each other on, creating a wonderful atmosphere of music and encouragement.
Cooking Up a Storm: On Monday, our participants were busy in the kitchen, working together to prepare two delicious dishes: cottage pie and cheese and potato pie. The teamwork and enthusiasm in the kitchen made the experience both fun and rewarding. The final dishes were absolutely delicious, and everyone enjoyed the results of their hard work.
Staying Active at The Aquatics Centre: Participants visited The Aquatics Centre for a lively badminton session. It was a fun-filled game that got everyone moving and engaged. At Options for Life, we prioritise both physical and mental well-being, and activities like these help our participants stay active while having a great time.
We love seeing our participants thrive, learn new skills, and enjoy their time together. Enjoy the photos and stay tuned!
